Metrohm and K'(Prime) Partner to expanded Ion Chromatography
by Pat Steffes, Vice President
|
On September 17th, 2012 Metrohm Canada (formerly Brinkmann Instruments Canada) and K'(Prime) combine forces to bring analytical
chemists in Western Canada more system choices, sales & leasing options, and enhanced support and services.
The Metrohm brand has a long history in ion analysis, celebrating 55 years in titration and 25 years in ion chromatography. Metrohm Canada,
with its regional office in Mississauga, Ontario, continues to grow with eight of its own field experts canvassing all provinces. Partnering with
K'(Prime) now more than doubles the localized Metrohm expertise, particularly across Western Canada.
K'(Prime) is uniquely positioned to help Metrohm deliver faster response time with their own field experts who can provide the same level of sales and
service expertise, plus leasing options, and more opportunities for localized trainings and seminars.
It's a "Prime Time" to upgrade your lab with a Metrohm IC system!

Annual Don LaBerge Memorial Golf Classic raises $23,700 for Cancer
by Jennifer Johnson, Office Administrator
|
On behalf of the 6th Annual Don LaBerge Memorial Golf Classic we have a respectable contribution to present to the Alberta Cancer Foundation in the area of
Patient Financial Assistance. Our total this year is $23,700 which I am sure comes as a great help in this lesser known area of need. This is up over $1,000
from last year's donation and I believe largely in part due to the number of 50/50 and cash draw returns. Thank you to those of you who so selflessly gave your
winnings back! Also a big thank you to the "Best" team who donated back their winning prize of the Best Western over night stays. Our tournament over the last
6 years has surpassed the $100,000 mark with a total of $114,364 raised.
